AN OPEN CONCEPT FLOW PUNCTUATED BY INTIMATE, JEWEL-BOX SPACES . . .

AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE WHERE ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE EXIST AS ONE . . .

This stunning residence was designed to exist in perfect harmony with its 2.5-acre wooded surroundings. Every element of the home was shaped by the beauty and seclusion of the landscape, taking the concept of “bringing the outside in” to an extraordinary level. From the moment you approach the front door, the home’s transparency becomes evident—you can see straight through to the landscape beyond, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.

Expansive windows, strategically placed doors, skylights, and a breathtaking atrium window ensure that you’re immersed in nature at every turn. In fact, from nearly any vantage point in the shared living areas, you are surrounded by sight lines to the outdoors in four or even five directions, creating a breathtaking panoramic connection to the landscape.

I designed this home to eliminate the monotony of hallways, instead embracing an open-concept flow punctuated by intimate, jewel-box spaces like the sunroom and office, which reveal themselves as you move through the home. This design offers the best of both worlds—spacious openness with moments of quiet retreat.

Another exciting feature? The entire house—excluding the bedrooms—can be illuminated solely by the great room lights, enhancing its sense of warmth and cohesion while maintaining a beautifully minimal aesthetic. This home isn’t just a place to live; it’s an immersive experience where architecture and nature exist as one.

Even the smallest details were carefully considered—there are no unsightly return air grilles disrupting the clean lines of the walls. Instead, they have been seamlessly hidden within softly lit ledges, blending function with refined design.
